Vicky Kaushal's father accused of sexual harassment; he apologizes
The sexual harassment allegations in wake of Bollywood's #MeToo movement don't seem to end. The campaign, which has exposed Vikas Bahl, Alok Nath, Sajid Khan etc, has a new addition now. Vicky Kaushal's father Sham Kaushal has been accused of sexual misconduct by assistant director Nameeta Prakash. While the allegations came as a shock, Sham has apologized for the same on social media.
"My story is not vile but needs to be heard"
Nameeta shared her ordeal on social media and said that though her story isn't vile as others, she feels it need to be brought to light. She said that Sham tried persuading her for a drink during an outdoor shoot in 2006. "The sound of that was so wrong that I lied to him and told him I don't drink at all," she wrote.
