Vicky Kaushal
Actor
A proud recipient of a National Film Award, a Filmfare Award, and two IIFA Awards, and many other major accolades, Vicky Kaushal, is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. Even though he earned a degree in engineering, he was not interested in doing an office job and joined theater under Naseeruddin Shah and Manav Kaul. In 2012, he worked as an assistant director with Anurag Kashyap for the ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ series. Kaushal made his acting debut in the industry in 2015 with the film ‘Masaan’, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. He also won the IIFA and Screen Awards for the Best Male Debut’. Later, even though Kaushal appeared in ‘Zubaan’ and ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’, they couldn’t perform well. In 2018, Kaushal got a breakthrough with Netflix’s series ‘Lover per Square Foot’, and next appeared in ‘Raazi’ in Bollywood. In 2018, he appeared in ‘Sanju’. Both of these movies became a super hit at the box office. Then his 2019 film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ became the tenth highest-grossing film of Bollywood at the time, gaining immense love and support from the audience. As of 2021, Kaushal was working on films like 'Sardar Udham Singh', 'Sam Bahadur', 'The Great Indian Family', and 'Mr. Lele'.
