Assam moves forward in Zubeen Garg case on his 53rd birthday
On what would have been Zubeen Garg's 53rd birthday, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma shared that the Union Home Ministry has granted the required sanction under Section 208 of the BNSS for Indian courts to take up the case involving Zubeen Garg's death in Singapore.
This means Assam Police can now officially file a chargesheet against seven people linked to Garg's death, with a deadline set for December 10.
