Bengaluru: Man, senior citizens brawl over dog walking in park
A dog-walking disagreement at Brigade Eutopia East Antopia Apartment in Bengaluru escalated recently.
Things escalated after resident Tarun Arora brought his dog near a designated senior citizens' walking area and was questioned for allowing it to urinate nearby, leading to a heated argument with a group of elderly residents who soon turned physical.
Both sides file complaints
According to reports, seven or eight seniors allegedly hit and kicked Arora until a bystander stepped in.
CCTV footage shows the confrontation and parts of the physical altercation.
Arora filed an assault complaint, while one senior citizen countered, accusing him of starting the fight and making threats about his or her kids abroad.
Police are examining complaints from both sides and investigating the incident.
