Bihar polls: 4L security personnel to ensure smooth voting

Bihar is gearing up for the second phase of its assembly elections on November 11, with over four lakh security personnel set to watch over 122 constituencies and nearly 45,400 polling stations—most in rural areas.

After a strong turnout of over 65% in the first phase, officials are stepping things up by doubling Central Armed Police Force companies to 1,000 and bringing in thousands more police, home guards, and local chowkidars.
