    CBSE: Class-12 Economics re-test on April-25, Class-10 Math for Delhi,Haryana

After cancelling the Class-10 Math and Class-12 Economics exams earlier this week, the CBSE has announced that the retest for the latter will be held on April 25. The Class 10 re-exam will be held only for Delhi and Haryana. The exams had been declared void due to question paper leaks: many students seemed to have accessed the papers hours before the exams.

Economics paper had leaked on social media hours before exam

Reports of the Economics question paper being leaked through social media had emerged hours before the paper commenced Monday. Urging students not to panic, CBSE had denied leaks, but announced a re-test two days later. The Class 12 exam, which began on March 5, was scheduled to end on April 13, but has been pushed back now due to the re-exam.

Math paper leaked night before exam

Meanwhile, reports of the Class 10 Math paper being leaked made the rounds since the night before the exam on Wednesday. According to sources, it was found that the leaked paper matched the original one.

No re-examination for Class-12 Accountancy, the first to be hit

Earlier, the CBSE had also been hit by reports of Class 12 Accountancy paper leak, but they had denied it. A paper matching Set-II, according to Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia, had reportedly been circulated on WhatsApp a day before the exam on March 15. CBSE called an urgent meeting, but blamed miscreants for "disturb(ing) the sanctity of examinations."
