Delhi: 2 men attacked with paper cutter in old rivalry

India

In northeast Delhi's Kabir Nagar, two men—Shazeb (30) and Shaid (27)—were injured after being attacked with a paper cutter around 11:30pm on November 5.
Both were taken to the hospital, and police arrived soon after but found the victims had already been taken for treatment.

Both suspects arrested, investigation underway

Police registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
By November 8, they'd tracked down and arrested Toheed (23) and Azhar Ali alias Ajju (24), who admitted to attacking Shazeb and Shaid over an old rivalry.
The paper cutter used was recovered, and it turns out Azhar already had two cases against him.
Forensics have collected evidence, and both suspects remain in custody as the investigation continues.
