Delhi blast: Doctor arrested for links to Jaish-e-Mohammed
India
A doctor from Saharanpur, Adil Ahmed, was arrested in November 2025 for alleged ties to the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed.
His arrest comes as investigators look into whether he played a role in the recent Delhi car explosion on November 10, which tragically killed 13 people and left several injured.
Medical student from Kanpur also detained
Authorities say Ahmed traveled from Srinagar to Delhi just days before the blast—his trip confirmed by an air ticket found at his place.
After returning to work at a local nursing home, he was picked up by a joint police team.
Meanwhile, UP's Anti-Terrorism Squad also detained Dr Mohammad Arif, a Kanpur medical student, seizing devices from his home and bringing him in for questioning about the same incident.
