Delhi government to stagger office timings to tackle pollution

India

Delhi's air is back in the "very poor" zone after Diwali, and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is asking everyone to help out: think carpooling, public transport, or even working from home if you can.
To push things along, parking fees are going up in the city after the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Stage II was invoked due to deteriorating air quality.

Staggered office timings from November 15

From November 15, 2025, to February 15, 2026, government offices will start later (10:00 am-6:30 pm), while municipal offices open earlier (8:30 am-5:00 pm).
This staggered schedule is meant to spread out traffic and help clear the air during winter.
As Gupta puts it, these moves are all about making life healthier for everyone in Delhi.
