Delhi schools hit by bomb threat emails—turns out to be a hoax
India
On Thursday, five Delhi schools—including The British School, Sanskriti School, Modern School, Doon Public School (Paschim Vihar), and Mother's International School (Hauz Khas)—got alarming emails about bombs on campus.
Students and staff were quickly evacuated while police and bomb squads conducted searches.
No real danger found; police still investigating
Thankfully, no explosives turned up and the threats were confirmed as hoaxes.
Police are now trying to track down who sent the emails, but it's tricky since they state that senders often use VPNs or dark web tools in such cases.
This comes just days after similar fake bomb threats at Delhi courts and CRPF schools—so far, no one's been arrested in either case.
