Delhi schools open after Red Fort blast; Noida-Ghaziabad close

India

After a tragic car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort metro station on November 10, 2025, that killed at least 12 and injured over 20, most schools and colleges in the city stayed open.
The suspected terror attack happened at a busy traffic signal, leading to tighter security across Delhi-NCR.

Online classes in a few private schools

A few private schools chose to hold online classes just to be safe, but most stuck with regular schedules.
Meanwhile, police have ramped up security around key spots, and investigations are ongoing after CCTV footage showed a suspect, who was identified by investigators as Dr. Mohammad Umar.
In a separate scare, 3,000kg of explosives were found in Faridabad, prompting heightened vigilance nationwide.
Schools in Noida and Ghaziabad closed too—but only because of air pollution this time.
