Delhi tests DGCA-Approved cloud seeding for artificial rains
Delhi is launching its first-ever cloud seeding trials between August 30 and September 10, aiming to create artificial rain in areas like Alipur, Bawana, and Rohini.
The ₹3.21 crore project was approved earlier this year but got pushed back due to the monsoon.

Project aims to tackle Delhi's smog problem
The big goal here is to fight Delhi's stubborn air pollution by boosting rainfall during winter, when pollution gets especially bad.
Led by IIT Kanpur and involving 13 government agencies, the project uses a modified Cessna aircraft to spray special particles into clouds—hoping for cleaner air as a result.
This experiment is part of Delhi's long-term plan to tackle recurring smog and make city life healthier.
