'Dharma Dhwaj' ceremony marks completion of Ram Mandir construction

India

Big moment in Ayodhya: the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is officially complete, marked by Prime Minister Modi hoisting the new 'Dharma Dhwaj' flag.
The saffron flag isn't just for show—it's built to handle high winds and carries symbols like Om, a radiant Sun, and the Kovidara tree.

What made this event special?

The ceremony lined up with Vivah Panchami and Guru Tegh Bahadur's martyrdom day, adding extra meaning.
Before the flag went up on the temple's 161-foot summit (designed by a parachute expert!), about 100 priests held a four-day havan.
Thousands showed up, including expected attendees like RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and CM Yogi Adityanath.
Each symbol on the flag has its own vibe: Om stands for eternal sound, the Sun represents Lord Ram's Suryavanshi lineage and divine energy, and Kovidara represents ancient wisdom.
Tight security meant no phones—just pure cultural pride in the air.
