Horrific double murder on Delhi street caught on camera

Two men were brutally beaten and stabbed to death after a fight broke out on a Delhi street last night, horrifying visuals captured by a CCTV installed in the area show. The victims were rushed to a hospital where they were declared dead. Both the accused have since been arrested by the police. Here are more details on this.

Incident occurred near Udyog Vihar Metro station

The incident occurred late last night in an alley near the Udyog Vihar Metro station in outer Delhi. Rohit Agarwal, 23, and Ghanshyam, 20, were traveling on their scooter when apparently their two-wheeler brushed against the motorcycle of the two accused, according to the police. A brief altercation ensued between the two sides after which they got engaged in a violent fight.

Horrifying CCTV footage recovered from the area

In the CCTV footage, the men were seen slapping, punching, and kicking each other on an otherwise deserted street. A few minutes later, one of the accused took out a knife and started repeatedly stabbing a man until he collapsed. He then took on the other victim. Both the victims were seen lying down as the accused rode past them on their motorcycle.

Police arrest both accused, seize weapon

The police reached the spot after being informed that two bodies, drenched in blood, were found on the street. With the help of the CCTV footage, the police arrested both the accused. One of them is a minor while the other is 19-year-old Pradeep Kohli. Meanwhile, the knife and the motorcycle of the accused have reportedly been seized by the police.

'The injured were declared brought dead'

"We received a call about two injured men lying near the Udyog Vihar Metro station. The injured were taken to hospital where they were declared brought dead (sic)," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer), A Koan, was quoted as saying.
