Citroen is a French automaker headquartered in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France. Founded in 1919 by Andre Citroen, the brand has been known for innovating technology over the years. The Citroen Traction Avant, launched in 1934, was the first mass-produced car with a front-wheel-drive, an independent suspension, and a unibody construction. In 1953, the company developed the world's first hydropneumatic self-levelling suspension unit, and later in 1955 they introduced the Citroen DS, first mass-manufactured car with modern disc brakes. Currently, the company’s product line-up includes SUVs like C5 Aircross, EV like C-ZERO, as well as DS series which was earlier known for racing in the rally driving events.
