Renault (Groupe Renault) is a French automobile manufacturer headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt, Paris, France. The first car, named the Renault Voiturette 1CV, was produced and sold by the Renault brothers in December 1898 and the company was later founded in 1899 as Societe Renault Freres. Jumping to January 2021, the company had revealed its plans to divide the automobile division into four units i.e. Renault, Alpine, Dacia and Lada, and Mobilize. Renault’s current product line in India includes the Kwid, the Triber, the Duster, and the Kiger.
