An 18-year-old vlogger, identified as Prince Patel, died in a tragic road accident in Surat. The incident occurred near the Great Liner Bridge when Patel was riding his KTM Duke motorcycle at a high speed of around 140km/h. CCTV footage from the scene shows him losing control of the bike and crashing into a divider.

His motorcycle continued dragging along the divider and came to a stop a few hundred meters away. The impact of the crash was so severe that Patel's head was severed from his body. Patel had recently posted an emotional reel comparing himself to "Majnu" and his bike to "Laila." In the video, he narrated, "Jab tak Majnu zinda tha, use is duniya me Laila se khoobsurat koi laga hi nahi. Lekin ab wo us jahan me hai jaha pe hoor or pariya bhi rehti hai lekin waha jaa kar bhi use Laila se zaada haseen koi lag hi nahi rahi." The video ended with a song from the film Laila Majnu.

Police register case, investigate illegal racing activities
The police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident. Another similar incident occurred in Ahmedabad, where a man died after crashing his speeding motorcycle into a metal grill of the BRTS track near GMDC ground. An officer said, "We believe other riders were racing in the stretch around the same time. CCTV footage from nearby junctions is being checked."
