Haryana government to regularize services of ad-hoc employees

Haryana government employees who are working on the ad-hoc, work-charged, and part-time basis for the last 20 to 25 years, will now be regularized, as per a proposal approved by the state government. The decision was taken by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar under the regularization policies issued in 2003 and 2004, an official statement said in Chandigarh today. Here are more details.

Administrative Secretaries, HODs directed to take necessary steps

All Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments have been directed to take necessary steps on the decision, the statement said. "They have also been directed to get posts created from the Finance Department in diminishing cadre so as to adjust such employees in various departments."

Government asked Finance Department to create posts

At the same time, the Finance Department has also been advised to create posts of diminishing cadre as and when any department, board, or corporation submits a case for the creation of posts for regularizing the services of employees in their departments under regularization policies of 2003 and 2004, the statement said. The proposal will save the jobs of around 4,654 employees.
