Haryana's Operation Trackdown: Thousands arrested in major crime crackdown
India
Haryana Police have completed two intense weeks of "Operation Trackdown," and the results are pretty eye-opening—over 4,500 people have been arrested since November 5, including more than 1,400 notorious offenders.
With hundreds more arrested on November 21 and significant results achieved, the operation has been extended for another week to keep the momentum going.
How it's playing out on the ground
Recent arrests include Sumit and Sanjeev (aka Sanju), caught after a gold chain snatching in Gurugram—Sanju alone is linked to 11 cases.
Another big catch was Manish (aka Goga), wanted in 20 serious cases, picked up near Dwarka Expressway.
The whole drive is about making Haryana safer by cracking down hard on repeat offenders and keeping things under control across the state.
