India mulls 'Observer' status for ICAO in AI-171 probe
India might let the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) observe its probe into the Air India AI-171 crash—something that's never happened before here.
The goal is to maintain best global practices.
Right now, India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is leading the charge, with help from US and UK aviation experts.
