Kapil Sibal attends Iran's late leader Khamenei's condolence gathering
The Iranian Embassy in New Delhi hosted a condolence gathering recently to honor Iran's late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal joined the event, highlighting how important it is to solve conflicts through conversation instead of violence.
He also expressed his condolences and spoke about worries over global peace as international rules seem to be slipping.
Tensions run high in West Asia
The Iranian Consulate in Hyderabad held a similar condolence meet, where visitors signed a condolence book to show support for Iran.
All this comes as tensions run high in West Asia: this week marks seven days since Iran responded with missile and drone strikes after recent attacks.
The gatherings followed Khamenei's passing earlier this month during an ongoing regional conflict involving Israel and the US.
