Lucknow school suspends students for 'chow mein' brawl at farewell
India
Some Class 9 students at St. Mary's School in Lucknow got suspended after things got a little out of hand at a farewell party's chow mein counter.
According to a voice note shared on the school's official WhatsApp group, a few students grabbed the noodles three or four times—sometimes even with their hands—which led to a two-day suspension.
Suspensions rolled back later
The school said such behavior had not occurred in the institution over the past 25 years, but after the incident gained wider attention, the suspensions were rolled back.
The administration stood by their call for discipline but admitted nothing like this had happened before.
