Man arrested after loan dispute turns violent in Delhi
A loan argument in Delhi took a dangerous turn when Siddharth Bhardwaj was arrested for allegedly orchestrating a shooting over an unpaid ₹4.5 lakh debt.
The trouble started on November 5, when Rahul Singh went to Bhardwaj's flat to ask for his money back, but things got heated fast.
How the shooting unfolded and what's next
During the fight, Bhardwaj's associate Rohit reportedly called Samir Dahiya, who shot Singh in the knee before the attackers fled.
Police tracked them using footage from over 150 CCTV cameras—even though they kept switching locations and turning off their phones.
Bhardwaj, who already had eight robbery and theft cases against him, was caught on November 23 and admitted he couldn't repay the loan.
Meanwhile, police are still searching for Rohit and Dahiya across Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
