NEET UG 2025 results: No perfect scorers, 12.37 lakh pass
The NEET UG 2025 results are out, and this year's top spot goes to Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan with 686 marks—a noticeable drop from the perfect scores seen in earlier years. No one hit the full 720 this time, so the general category cut-off slid down to a range of 686-144.

Out of more than 22 lakh students who took the exam, about 12.4 lakh cleared it. Uttar Pradesh had the most qualifiers, followed by Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Notably, over half of those who qualified were female—more than seven lakh girls made it through.

This year saw the general category cut-off fall. The absence of perfect scores and tighter exam security stood out, making NEET UG 2025 quite different from previous years.
