Odisha man murders lover, surrenders to police

A 24-year-old man, Abhaya Kumar Moharana, has confessed to fatally stabbing his girlfriend, Priya Kumari Moharana, at a lodge in Berhampur, Odisha.
The two reportedly got into an argument over marriage plans during their visit on Tuesday afternoon, which turned violent.
After the incident, Abhaya injured his hand and later surrendered to the police.

Body sent for post-mortem

Police say the couple had visited this same lodge thrice before.
Berhampur SP Saravana Vivek M confirmed Abhaya's arrest and shared that Priya's body has been sent for post-mortem.
