Sanjay Kapoor is the new Editors Guild of India President

Sanjay Kapoor, who leads Hardnews magazine, has just become the new President of the Editors Guild of India.
He was elected unopposed at their Annual General Meeting on November 22, taking over from Anant Nath in this key media leadership role.

Meet the new team

Alongside Kapoor, Raghavan Srinivasan (ex-The Hindu Business Line) is now General Secretary and Teresa Rehman (Thumbprint NE) steps in as Treasurer—both also elected without contest.
They're replacing outgoing officials Ruben Banerjee and K Ve Prasad, promising a smooth handover as the Guild continues its work supporting journalists across India.
