Sikh pilgrims return home after Pakistan trip for Guru Nanak's birthday
India
A group of Sikh pilgrims just wrapped up a 10-day pilgrimage to Pakistan, marking Guru Nanak's birth anniversary.
Their trip included a big gathering at Gurdwara Janamasthan Nankana Sahib on November 5, plus visits to other sacred spots like Panja Sahib and Kartarpur Sahib.
First such pilgrimage since security restrictions
This was the first such pilgrimage allowed since security restrictions from Operation Sindoor.
Pakistani officials helped see the group off at the Attari-Wagah border, though only Indian passport holders could join due to current rules.
Sadly, one elderly pilgrim passed away during the trip, but overall, nearly 2,000 people took part in this meaningful journey for the Sikh community.
