Third doctor arrested in multi-state terror network bust

India

A doctor from Lucknow, Dr. Shaheen, has been arrested as part of a major crackdown on a suspected terror network spanning several states.
Led by Jammu and Kashmir police with help from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, the operation is targeting groups linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind.
Dr. Shaheen is now the third doctor caught up in this case, showing that even professionals can be involved in these networks.

Other doctors arrested

Alongside Dr. Shaheen, authorities have also arrested Dr. Muzammil Ganaie, a university teacher from Faridabad, and Dr. Adeel Rather at a hospital in Saharanpur.
These arrests highlight efforts to track down the "white collar" side of terror operations—people you wouldn't usually expect to be involved.
The investigation is still active, so more updates are likely soon.
