Sincere apology from all of us at NewsBytes

On April 14, we published a story titled "Uttar Pradesh: Cleric rapes 14-year-old girl inside mosque premises." It has now come to our notice that the incident happened in 2015, and not 2018. As someone who takes deep pride in the work she does, I apologize to all our readers. It was a clear case of oversight. It should not have happened, we should have been more careful, I wish I could undo it. But, I can't. All we can now do is own up the mistake and apologize. We are SORRY.

From the bottom of our hearts

While growing up, my mother told me, "An apology is a lovely perfume; it can transform the clumsiest moment into a gracious gift." We are asking for that gift here.
