During the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, Modi was honored for successfully concluding trade deals with 39 countries. The United States and India have signed a deal reducing reciprocal tariffs on Indian goods from 25% to 18%. Rijiju said there is excitement across the country about these developments. Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora also credited PM Modi's determination for these historic trade agreements, which he said will benefit small-scale businessmen.

Newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Nabin was welcomed at the meeting attended by members from various NDA constituents. MPs belonging to the BJP, TDP, JD(U), LJP (R), Shiv Sena, JD(S), and other constituents of the NDA attended the meeting.
