Amazon Pay brings fingerprint and face unlock to UPI payments

Amazon Pay now lets you use your fingerprint or face scan instead of a PIN for UPI payments up to ₹5,000.
This works for sending money to friends or paying in stores—just tap, scan, and you're done.

Fast, secure—and already popular

Amazon Pay is one of the first in India to roll out biometric UPI payments. The security is tight since your biometrics stay on your device.
Over 90% of users are already choosing this feature because it makes paying quicker and easier.
For now, it's available on Android only.
