Apple issues iOS 26.6.1 update fixing 29 security flaws

Apple rolled out iOS 26.6.1 on August 17, 2026, patching up 29 security issues across iPhones, iPads (iPadOS 26.6.1), and Macs (MacOS 26.6.2).

None of these bugs have been used by hackers yet, but now that they're public, users are urged to update as soon as possible to stay safe.

Apple issues 18.7.10 for older devices

If your device can't run the latest iOS, you're not left out: Apple also released iOS and iPadOS 18.7.10 updates for older models to keep them secure too.

This is all happening right before the launch of iOS 27 in September 2026.
