Apple launches AppleCare+ One Family plan covering 6 people, $49.99
Apple just dropped the AppleCare One Family plan: a single subscription that covers up to six people in your Family Sharing group.
For $49.99 a month (about ₹4,800), eligible iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches used by Family Sharing members are protected from accidental damage, theft, and loss.
The plan launches in the US on September 14, 2026.
AppleCare One: unlimited accidents, 6 thefts
You get unlimited claims for accidents and warranty repairs, plus up to six claims a year for theft or loss.
Newly bought devices are added automatically at no extra cost, even if you keep upgrading, so you don't have to worry about changing your coverage.
Devices can be less than four years old and in good shape to qualify, although a diagnostic check or inspection may be required.
Manage coverage from iPhone or Mac
This new family plan builds on last year's AppleCare One (which covered three devices for $19.99 a month).
Now, with more people and more devices included under one price, managing protection is way simpler: just tweak your settings right from your iPhone or Mac.
