AWS Marketplace just got a lot busier with AI agents; offerings jumped from 1,000 to over 4,000 in one year.
"AI agents" went from barely noticed (64th place) to the third most-searched term on the platform, as more companies look for ways to automate routine tasks and boost efficiency.
AI agent market $1.2B last year
AI agents are making life easier for businesses by handling things like software buying, licensing, and deployment, saving time and cutting IT costs.
The market for this tech was $1.2 billion last year and could hit nearly $9 billion by 2034.
AWS is also making it simpler to find and launch these tools, though big custom deals still need that human touch for now.
