Experiments show importance of biotech for future space research
The crew will run seven experiments looking at how microgravity affects things like crop growth (think moong, methi, and microalgae for future food), muscle stem cells, and even how astronauts interact with screens in space.
To keep results reliable, ISRO swapped in fresh seeds and microbes before launch.
As Union Minister Jitendra Singh put it, these experiments show just how important biotech is for the future of space research.
