Elon Musk's AI company, xAI, just made its Grok-powered API a lot more useful. Developers can now plug in text, PDF, and CSV files to their AI apps—making it easier to chat with data or run interactive discussions.
This means xAI now offers a feature already available from most major AI companies.

The updated Files API works with Grok 4 models and can handle files up to 48MB. It even lets you analyze multiple files at once or run Python code for deeper insights.
Pricing is $10 per 1,000 tool uses (plus regular token costs), giving developers more power for advanced data tasks.
