Google just rolled out Nano Banana Pro, its latest AI image generator powered by Gemini 3.
This upgraded version is built for pros, offering smarter editing tools—think better resolution, lighting tweaks, and advanced text handling.
You can try it out in the Google Gemini app under the Gemini Thinking section.
Watermarks: Who gets what?
Nano Banana Pro is packed with features like text manipulation and translation, making it handy for designers and illustrators.
To keep things authentic, every image made with Pro gets an invisible SynthID watermark that can be detected by Gemini AI.
If you're using the free tier, your images will show a visible "sparkle" watermark; paid Google AI Ultra users get clean images without any visible marks.
The original Nano Banana tool is still around for everyone else.
