Google enhances Chromebook Plus with AI features
Google just dropped a big AI update for all Chromebook Plus devices, making things like searching and reading way easier.
Now you can long-press on anything onscreen to search with Lens or grab text instantly.
There's also "Text capture" for turning images into editable text, and "Help me read" to break down tricky passages.
Free year of Gemini AI Pro plan
All Chromebook Plus users get a free year of Google's AI Pro plan, which includes 2TB cloud storage and Gemini AI in Gmail and Docs.
The new Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 starts at $649 (12GB RAM) or $749 (16GB RAM), featuring an OLED touchscreen and MediaTek Kompanio Ultra ARM chip.
