Google enhances Photos app with improved Ask Photos feature
Google is rolling out its upgraded Ask Photos feature again, after fixing earlier issues with slow and inaccurate results.
Now, you can ask things like "Where was that restaurant we ate at in San Francisco?" and get faster, more reliable answers.
To make this happen, Google has blended in some classic search elements for a smoother experience.

If you'd rather stick with the old-school search, you can still opt out: just open the Photos app, tap your profile picture, head to Settings > Preferences, and turn off "Search with Ask Photos" under Gemini features.
