Google launches Gemini Omni 1.2 flash for 15-second video generation
Technology
Google just launched Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash, an AI tool that lets you whip up 15-second videos with smarter editing and more creative options.
Available through the Gemini API and Google Cloud, it's designed for video-generation with longer video length, improved editing, better lip-syncing, lower pricing, and reference-based generation support.
Google prices 15-second 720p clips $1.05
You can draft videos in 360p or 720p (and upgrade to HD or even 4K), all while saving about 30% compared to older tools.
It's great for ads or explainer videos: just drop in images, clips, or audio cues, and let the AI handle the rest.
Pricing is student-budget-friendly too: a full 15-second clip at 720p costs only $1.05.
Plus, there's built-in tech to spot AI-made content so things stay transparent.
