Google releases Android 17 QPR1 Beta 8 addressing Pixel bugs

Google just dropped the Android 17 QPR1 Beta 8 update for Pixel users.

This version keeps the July 2026 security patch and squashes some annoying bugs, like loud static during music or notifications, issues with connecting to the Pixel Tablet Speaker Dock, broken NFC tag reading, and fingerprint unlock glitches.

Available on Pixel 6a to 10

This update is available for a bunch of Pixels, from the 6a up to the Pixel 10 series, as well as the Pixel Tablet and foldables.
