Google revamps Fitbit app for enhanced user experience

Technology

Google just rolled out a major update to the Fitbit app, making it easier to use and nicer to look at.
The new Device Settings page now shows a bigger preview of your device and watch face, plus clear icons for battery, connection, and sync status.
There's also a "Sync now" button right up top, so you can refresh your data in one tap.

Interface now matches the Pixel Watch app

The app's interface now matches the Pixel Watch app, showing Google's push to bring its products closer together.
Settings are grouped into simple sections like Notifications (calls, texts), Device Preferences (like wrist side or lock), Reminders & Alerts, Tips & Support, and Smart Features such as Alexa on-wrist calls.

Health metrics page is cleaner too

The Health Metrics page is cleaner too—"Today" and "Trends" are merged into one spot with bigger numbers for things like breathing rate or heart rate.
You'll see at a glance how many stats are in your normal range.
