Google rolls out gradient icons for Workspace apps on Android

Google is beginning to roll out new gradient icons for its Workspace apps, giving Docs, Sheets, and Slides a fresh look on Android.
If you use the web version, you might have noticed the update since May 18 on Google Sites and Chrome's New Tab page.

Icons adopt distinct colors and shapes

The icons now feature distinct colors and shapes instead of Google's usual four-color palette, making them easier to spot.
Gmail sticks with its classic colors, but most other apps dropped the old page container for bigger, unique icons.
Updates for Drive, Calendar, Chat, and Meet are also rolling out.
