HUAWEI launches hi-tech GT6 smartwatches in India at ₹22,000
What's the story
HUAWEI has launched its latest smartwatches, the GT6 and GT6 Pro, in India. The new additions to the GT series were first unveiled globally in September. Both models are designed for outdoor sports tracking and offer advanced features like accurate heart-rate monitoring and long battery life. They come with wrist-based cycling power metrics, over 100 sport modes, and are water-resistant up to 5ATM.
Premium model
GT6 Pro: A premium option with advanced features
The GT6 Pro is the high-end model of the two. It features a titanium alloy body and sapphire glass for durability. The watch sports a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits for outdoor visibility. It also comes with the advanced Sunflower GPS Positioning System and supports multiple navigation systems like GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO.

GT6 Pro is designed for outdoor activities
The GT6 Pro is specifically designed for trail running, hiking, and cycling. It can directly measure cycling power from the wrist and offers detailed training analysis as well as sleep monitoring with recovery insights. The watch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices and can last up to 21 days on a single charge under normal use conditions.
Lighter model
GT6: A lighter version with similar features
The GT6 comes in two sizes, 46mm and 41mm. It has a lighter stainless-steel case but retains the core performance features of the Pro model. The 46mm version sports a 1.47-inch AMOLED display while the 41mm one has a slightly smaller screen at 1.32-inch. Both models are designed for outdoor readability and support NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, and multi-system GPS with NavIC among other features.

GT6 series: Pricing and availability
The GT6 series smartwatches are available on Flipkart and RTC India's website. The 46mm and 41mm models of the GT6 start at ₹21,999. The Gold variant of the smaller model is priced at ₹24,999 while the GT6 Pro 46mm starts at ₹28,999, and the premium Titanium variant of the GT6 Pro costs ₹39,999.
