DSLR-killer Huawei P30 Pro now available for purchase via Amazon
Huawei's camera-centric smartphone, P30 Pro, which was recently launched in India, is now up for purchase via Amazon. The company has also announced that the flagship smartphone would be sold offline via Croma stores later this week. Touted as a DSLR-killer, P30 Pro offers a novel quad camera setup with up to 50x zoom along with top-of-the-line specifications and features. Here's our roundup.
The quad camera setup on the P30 Pro comprises a 40MP (f/1.6) primary SuperSpectrum Sensor, a 20MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor, an 8MP (f/3.4) telephoto sensor, and a Time-of-Flight (TOF) camera. The main camera array also has a color temperature sensor, flicker sensor and offers 5x optical along with 50x digital zoom. Up front, the phone has a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.
The 40MP SuperSpectrum sensor uses 4-in-1 pixel binning tech to offer highly detailed 10MP images. This sensor also enables a maximum ISO of 409,600 for low-light photography. The 20MP wide-angle sensor also allows for good macro or wide shots. Lastly, the OIS-enabled 8MP telephoto sensor is the key feature. It uses a periscope setup to offer stunning optical and digital zoom capabilities.
The Huawei P30 Pro comes with a 6.47-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) OLED screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, IP68-rated build quality, and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. It also uses an Acoustic Display Technology that allows the screen to act as a speaker. Lastly, the phone is powered by a Kirin 980 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and 4,200mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity, the Huawei P30 Pro comes with dual-SIMs (Nano), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, aptX HD, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. It offers all standard sensors including accelerometer, proximity, and compass.
Huawei P30 Pro, launched at a price tag of Rs. 71,990 for the solo 8GB/256GB variant, is now up for grabs via Amazon. The smartphone will be available for purchase through 120 Croma stores across the country starting Friday i.e. April 19. These stores are already accepting pre-orders for the device.
