IRCTC deactivates 3.04cr IDs suspends 6.33cr accounts against ticket touting

IRCTC just deactivated 3.04 crore user IDs and suspended another 6.33 crore to stop touts from using fake accounts to hoard and resell train tickets.
Since last October, they've registered 592 complaints on the Cyber Crime Portal covering 4.21 lakh suspicious PNR numbers and blocked 16,041 suspicious email domains, all to keep ticketing fair for everyone.
IRCTC hits record 20.06L bookings
With new anti-bot tech and a smoother website, IRCTC hit a record 20,06,353 ticket bookings on September 7 this festive season, up from last year's high.
Now, about 89% of tickets are booked online, making it way easier (and faster) for regular users to grab their seats during rush hour.
