2018 Jaguar F-Type SVR: Bookings open for the fastest Jaguar

Jaguar Land Rover India is now accepting bookings for its 2018 Jaguar F-Type SVR, which was launched in India last year.
This sports car, priced at Rs. 2.45 crore, will be offered in Coupe and Convertible variants.
Jaguar's fastest production car ever, F-Type SVR has been developed by the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team at Jaguar Land Rover.

The F-Type SVR comes with a lightweight titanium and Inconel exhaust system that shaves off 16kg in overall weight.
In a bid to make it fast, Jaguar had to make it light. Hence, the supercar gets new 20-inch forged alloy wheels, which further save a weight of 13.8kg.
The F-Type SVR also gets redesigned aerodynamics, a carbon-fiber rear wing and lightweight Magnesium-constructed seats.

Inside the cabin, the car gets SVR performance seats, leather upholstery and plush interiors, SVR-branded leather steering wheel along with aluminum gearshift paddles.
The F-Type SVR comes with a V-MAX mode which offers thrilling speeds with minimum drag for pure driving pleasure.
The car comes with Pirelli P-Zero tyres that are 10 mm wider than the ones on the standard Jaguar F-Type.

The F-Type SVR is powered by a 5-liter supercharged V8 engine that churns out a massive 575bhp at 6,500rpm and 700Nm of peak torque at 3,500rpm.
The engine comes mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox which powers all the four wheels.
The Jaguar F-Type SVR can go 0-100kph in a claimed 3.7sec, and reaches a top speed of 322kph.
