James Mathew and Aarnav Ramesh Gowda win WRO national title

James Mathew and Aarnav Ramesh Gowda, both 12 and from Brigade School in Bengaluru, just won the national title at the recently-concluded World Robot Olympiad (WRO) National Championship 2026, held in Hyderabad.
Out of nearly 400 teams across India, their project stood out in the Future Innovators Junior category.
Team to represent India in December
Guided by Biju Mathew from Sky Walkers Academy, they built a "Music Experience Platform" that blends robotic percussion, AI, and virtual instruments, perfect for this year's theme "Robots Meet Culture."
The platform is designed to make museum visits more interactive and bring affordable music education to rural areas.
Next up: representing India at the WRO International Championship this December.
