On November 18, a big Cloudflare network issue took down major sites like X (formerly Twitter), ChatGPT, Canva, and Spotify.
People everywhere ran into error messages and couldn't access their favorite platforms for hours as the problem spread quickly.

What went down?

It wasn't just social media—gaming, shopping, and productivity sites like Shopify all glitched out.
Even Downdetector (the site that tracks outages) briefly struggled to load.

How did Cloudflare handle it?

Cloudflare—a critical backbone for a huge section of the internet—confirmed a serious network failure and started fixing things right away.
By afternoon some services were back up but many users still saw errors as repairs continued.
