Major upgrade unveiled for Apple MacBook: macOS 26

Technology

Apple just revealed macOS 26, nicknamed "Tahoe," at WWDC 2025. The update brings a fresh Liquid Glass look and makes your Mac work even better with your iPhone. Developer beta is out now, public beta lands in July, and the full release comes this fall.

Phone app on Mac

The new Phone app lets you make calls and see live activities from your iPhone right on your Mac—no more switching devices. The updated design gives the Dock and sidebars a smooth, translucent vibe. Heads up: you'll need a Mac with an M1 chip or newer; older Intel Macs are left out.

Focus on gaming

Gaming gets some love too, thanks to the new Games app and Metal 4 for sharper graphics. It's all part of Apple's push to make Macs more fun and connected for everything you do.
